These are actual desks here in my office (4 separate cubicles). We just had a new employee that was hired and literally within 2 hours of her moving into her desk, she had all the things you see in the photo (first one). I thought it was really funny how their (women) desks differed so much from my own desk as well as my male co-workers. Here is a visual example of each. More details at the end of the images.

Perhaps a woman needs the security of home and family near her as she works while a man wants to feel superior through displaying his gadgetry.

a man just wants to get his job done with as little distraction as possible whereas a woman will arse about making it her second home

Superiority isn’t a factor. Work is boring. Women seem to ENJOY menial tasks.

the second man’s desk has a ton of baby pictures on it - wouldn’t that be considered family pics?
