Radical Fashion Tips from the 80’s

1. The Cure
Tips from the creators of the genre Gothic Rock have very simple guidelines: black (and lots of it) accompanied with long messy/unkempt hair (preferably dyed black).

2. Madonna
This pic has all the information you need. Madonna inspired a new fashion trend for little girls and women everywhere defined by lace tops, skirts over capri pants, fishnet stalkings and tons of jewelry with the Christian cross.

3. Crockett & Tubbs (Don Johnson & Philip Michael Thomas)
There’s no doubt that the Miami Vice series sparked a huge fashion trend for men in the 80’s. Italian fashion, meet America. The typical line-up generally consisted of an Italian sportcoat, T-shirt, white linen pants and slip-on shoes. The average colors ranged from several shade of pinks, peach, blue, green and fuschia. Oh yeah, and don’t forget to sport the Don Johnson 5 o’clock shadow otherwise know as “designer stubble” at all times. (more…)

The Difference Between Men’s & Women’s Cubicles
These are actual desks here in my office (4 separate cubicles). We just had a new employee that was hired and literally within 2 hours of her moving into her desk, she had all the things you see in the photo (first one). I thought it was really funny how their (women) desks differed so much from my own desk as well as my male co-workers. Here is a visual example of each. More details at the end of the images.
