  3. quato

I would seriously frame any of these albums and place them on my wall. I would put Millie Jackson on my bathroom wall.

  4. Derek

Uh, dude? Sorry to tell you, but most of those albums aren’t from the ’80s. Not to defend that decade, but you’re off by twenty years with a lot of these. That’s about as accurate as pointing at last week’s new release and saying it was from the ’80s.

  5. mike

    oh!
    this covers are really freak

  6. ernie

Most of these covers are about as 80s as Eight is enough, which started in the 70s. The 80s didn’t start until 1983. Rocky III was the catalyst for the 80s Zeitgeist. Whoever posted this isn’t old enough to know 80s irony. ‘A’ for effort though.

  7. pedantic

i think only two of those albums are really from the 80s…

  9. Devo

All these suck. I’m not an average random internet complainer, but really. I love 80s music. These all suck. Try some 80s goth rock covers, or Devo even. Jesus Christ.

  10. Saman Sadeghi

Oh man, those were so awesomely bad!

[…] I’d love to know the sales stats for these albums. […]

  12. D

solid list but I think that most of those are older than the 80’s… I don’t think Decca existed after the 70’s

  13. brains

Probably because you are too busy trying to exercise your wit by posting lame comments on random websites, then compulsively checking to see if anyone acknowledges your genius.

  17. Zone

80’s? More like 60’s & 70’s (maybe even 50’s for one or two of them)…

80’s were MTV, big hair, and the advent of the Compact Disc…

    And Ronnie Raygun…

  18. rik

hate to say this, but none of these are from the 80’s…more like the 60’s and 70’s.

And D*@N that Joyce is a hottie!

  19. Not You

    I am forever scarred………..eyes burning………..brain aching………worst…album covers…Ever!

(I am particularly destroyed inside by the 8th album down!)

  20. tgpo

I think a lot of these predate the 80s.

  21. Jeff

Almost none of these are from the 80s.

  22. shinykid

prolly for the same reason “Songs for Bi-Curious Cats” was banned…RIAA.

The eighties sucked. Even the food was horrible. If you can remember the eighties you’re having a post traumatic flashback.

  27. Dr. Blindsy

    Heh.

None of these are from the 80’s… but I won’t waste your time, or anyone else’s time with that statement. Seems way too many people on here have done that already.

HOWEVER… I have to say, as someone who is legally blind, that “The Braillettes” Is made of more win then anything EVER.

  28. Tess

Ok, “The Braillettes,” at least the back two, are blind, so I don’t think we should make fun of them…right?

  29. MusicStaff

We can make fun of the album cover, not the people themselves ;)
Great page! Some of these are downright creepy…

  30. PistolPete

I don’t think these albums are from the 80’s. Weird…. i just had deja vu.

  37. Dexter Fisborne

I have these albums - don’t mock them till you have heard them.

  38. Chris

And to think ‘The Singing Postman’ and ‘Songs for Gay Dogs’ were both very popular in the 1960s (not the 80s)…sad, sad decade.

  39. Kristi

ummm does it matter that these are not from the 80’s….why do these even exist at all?!?!

No..no…the Millie Jackson one couldn’t be for real. Oh no. My favorite is She’s A Big Lass, She’s A Bonny Lass.
I’m a big boned female with Scots heritage. I think thats my moniker now.

  42. StuartDMT

Don’t care if they’re really from the 80s or not - I love ‘em. I love ‘em all! Choice, really choice.

  43. Levi

These are all fantastic. Thanks very much for posting them- you’ve brought much merriment to my house. Although, reading through these comments left has me in mysanthropic despair. Particularly Devo’s comment. I hate you Devo. Whoever you are. (It has nothing to do with your music taste.)

  44. stupe

funny site. Amusing that people seem offended that these are from the eighties. Astonishing that anyone would think they ever existed at all !!

  45. nick
